AFFILIATE LINKS & PERSONAL SUGGESTIONS
As a multi-hyphenate girlie in the fitness and wellness space for over a decade, I understand the importance of accessibility from a personal and professional standpoint. Check out this list of companies that I frequent as a traveling athlete, storyteller, and professional creative.
AMAZON
I added as many of my favorite items in the fitness, culinary and literary space into this Amazon affiliate list.
Please Note: I’ll receive a small commission from any purchases made through this link. If you only want to use this list as a resource, that’s completely cool by me.
SUPERFIT HERO
I’ve been an ambassador for this amazing athleisure company since 2019 and they’re phenomenal! Presently, their clothing ranges from a size large to 7XL.
Please Note: I’ll receive a small commission from any purchases made through this link.
HOKA
I’ve been a HOKA girl since 2018 - one year before I became a Global Athlete Ambassador with their company. As a chronically ill baddie, I love their beautifully “ugly” shoes. This was an easy leap for me to join their ambassador program. While I do not garner a commission from them, I am a sponsored athlete. Transparency is sexy, honey.
Personal Faves: I love the Clifton series, Arahi, Bondi and Mach for the road or everyday wear. Their Kawana and Solimar are solid cross trainers, but I would wear something flatter for powerlifting. For the trail, I’ll always recommend the Speedgoat series and for recovery, anything Ora will treat you right.
RUNNING FAT CHEF STRAVA COMMUNITY
Although running is in the name, this Strava community welcomes in athletes of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. We love supporting each other’s efforts and I throw in random playlists, tips, tricks and inspo regularly.
CAPITAL ONE QUICKSILVER CARD
I’m not here for too many credit cards but I love that this one rewards me with cash back every time I buy my flights, purchase items on the fly, hotels or frankly, anything. I’ve had this card for almost a decade and its been a lifesaver. If you are building or repairing your credit, this might be the one for you. I’ll always advise you to spend wisely and don’t forget to cash in those bucks as it accumulates over time.
STASH
As a freelancer, I found Stash to be super helpful and easy to invest in stocks, create a retirement plan and more. I’ve been using them since 2020 and a girl’s pretty damn happy about it. As always, invest as your budget allow.
Please Note: I do have a link that offers $20 of stock to both of us when you join and add cash.
PHLANX
Almost all social media platforms offer tools for you to see your stats, but this website generate reports and offers an engagement calculator. Last time that I checked, it allows you to check three accounts daily for free. This may be helpful for up-and-coming influencers who are seeking to grow their business.
CAPITAL ONE VENTUREONE
If you have good credit, this is a card that offers unlimited 1.25 miles per dollar on every purchase and unlimited 5 miles per dollar on hotels and rental cars booked via Capital One Travel. I can personally attest to using these perks similarly to how I use the Capital One Quicksilver Card.
RUNNING FAT CHEF
Did you think I wouldn’t tell you about the dopest community around? Check out my blog, podcast and the evolution of Running Fat Chef. This year, we’ll be making some changes to the website and its mission - stay tuned! And oh, check us out on social media.
SPOTIFY
Let me guess: You didn’t look at all of my shiny links above or you missed the icon. I don’t earn a special perk or Pokémon badge if you listen to my playlists, but I do have over a hundred of them thanks to the pandemic.
When I’m not watching a good documentary, reading a book, being a fitness lunatic or nerding out, I am listening to music and crafting playlists. Check them out and hopefully you’ll find something you like.
BUZZSPROUT
I created my podcast, Running Fat Chef, in the middle of the pandemic and was looking for a platform to help me share my work on each possible platform. This is where Buzzsprout comes into play.
